Washing machine overflow...

Well, as a few might know, I'm getting married on Friday. As if the build up to the big day isn't enough on my mind, out washing machine decided to overflow just now and I've got water everyfuckingwhere.:cussing: :cussing: :cussing: :nonono2:

Anyway, just curious if anyone knows anything about washers. The hoses weren't the cause of the leak and the machine drains fine when on the spin cycle, but it's leaking when it fills (the leak seems to come out the bottom). Are there washers inside that can be replaced or am I fuct??

I'll be calling a tech out in the morning instead of skiing, but just thought I'd check here first to see if there's anyway I can save a few extra $$ for the honeymoon.

When my washer did this, I had to buy a new water pump. A sock got stuck in the pump and ruined the impeller.

You may just need to reconnect a sensing line hose in the washer control pannel area. Mine just did this about 3 months ago and a guy I work with used to be a Sears repairman, and showed me what to do for the cost of a couple of drinks.

Sage advice. Just hose the midget off in the yard, the spin cycle makes 'em dizzy anyway.
