whats the verdict on using the intuition alpine power wrap liners in alpine boots? are they too soft, or too short (they look very short compared to my lange liners)? obviously they arent going to perform like injection liners, but do are they similar to stock liners, or just really comfy but low performance?
I use 'em and I don't think there is any dropoff in performance. I personally use a custom footbed in mine, although it isn't necessary. I race a fair amount too, so I do put a premium on performance. I can't think of any good reason not to use them. I swear by them.
I think Intuition makes a taller liner for alpine boots, but I might be mistaken.
The regular Intuitions are too short for most boots, but will work in some.
Personally, I have never found a better fit than I do with Intuitions or Thermoflexs. The 'wrap' reduces the possibility of pressure points greatly (at least from my experience).
yuh, intuition makes a shorter liner for AT/tele boots and a taller one for alpine boots. They rock, hard. I love my thermos. Ive got a pair of the red and white ones in my Pro Models and a set of the dual density wraps in my course's. They are a performance, fit and comfort increase over any stock liner. They also weigh close to nothing, making for a warm, lightweight boot. Do em up.

the ones i have are the alpine power wraps but they still seem short, they were molded for my AT boots, and are only a bit taller than the back of the shell if i put them in my langes. i guess if i remold them in my langes they might end up being taller.
I am a big fan of my intuitions. They are comfortable, perform well, and are warmer than the stock liner.
Pull on them a bit when they are warm and they might stretch up a bit.
Have nothing but good things to say about my Thermo Intuitions, I ski them in my XT 24s it used to be a cold boot.... I am glad went w/ them over foam. Comfortable,warm,cheap, great performance fit and have lasted me 3- seasons now{ cooked them twice for two different shells}
However when my Diablo's come {if} in think I am going to pick up a fresh pair.
haven't read any other comments, but going into my 4th season in them and they rock!!!!
glad to hear more + comments. Im going to grab a pair tomorrow from the factory in Vancouver. Atrain and Postman Phil were raving about theirs on the lift the other day.
I put intuition power wraps (which is the alpine thermo by the way - their cuff height is quite high) into my AT boots (Denalis) and they stiffened them up considerably, while making them more comfortable as well. Get them, you won't be disappointed.
