Had 2 of my 4 ankle screws removed this morning in a quicky 20 minute surgery. Seems to have been a flawless procedure.
Should be back on the snow in a week or two.
REALLY looking forward to pain-free boot wearing again. Those that ride with me are looking forward to whine-free riding.

I had two of my 5 ankle screws removed about 6 weeks ago and am still hurting. The 2 they removed were right on the bottom of the heel.
I was wondering who your doc in Colorado is? Is is Dr. Pino? My doc in Michigan has does fellowship training for foot and ankle orthopedic specialist and one of his fellows that did my surgery (Dr. Pino) has a practice out there!
