Was at Breck today they had the Imperial chair crankin', unbelievable pow on the south face of peak 8. Felt like I drowning in waves of powder on the heel side turns (flat light, sucked, it bombed all day). Chair 6 was not running but the terrain was open ( not enuff lifties, according to S/P). Patrol said once the weather breaks and they do some avy work, they will open North face of 8 as well as peak 7, maybe a couple of days. Easily my best Pow day, since Wolf Creek a couple of years ago.Quote:
