Hey,
Planning to buy a pair of 2-way radio's.
I see that if you want more than a couple of miles range, you have to get a license for the GMRS frequency.
Did all you folks (or someone you know ;)) get an FCC license ? Or not bother at all ?
I wonder if it's like the UK TV License, where your name/address gets sent to "the authorities" when you buy :( Thanks.
The key word is SUPPOSSED to have the FCC licence for the +2 milers
