This isn't a question of right or wrong, perceived or not,Walter. If you put a target on your back & yell ,"look at me",somebody is going to shoot at you.
I am not complaining about getting shit ... I am just giving back and pointing out reality. I don't think I am the one that needs to lighten up as I am not the one telling me my board is fucked or that I am in the wrong forum and have not an answer to my question. I am just a dude that posed a very simple, nontechnical question. I also know that the more views this thread gets the better the chance of somebody seeing it who can actually answer my question - the simple whether or not somebody has ever done it. Not how to or why not or anyone's opinion on a board they haven't seen or ridden.

In fact I think you should build a Franken-board from spare pieces & post your results in detail.Good Luck with your mission.
That is kinda the plan. Like I said, if I can get my hands on a digi, I will document it and put that technical info in the Tech Talk section.

Your board is F*CKED ,it's that simple. You can put all the time you want into it ,slap 50 t-screws in it,whatever makes you happy.IT WILL NEVER BE THE SAME. The more adjustments you make to it to fix it,the more you'll change it's characteristics on one side.I guess you could do the same thing to the other side to make the changes hard to detect.
I would address these points - but that would be getting technical and we all know that that kind of talk does not belong here.;)
I think you are trying to be helpful, thankyou. The mission will proceed as planned.

You got WAAAAAY too much time on your hands if you're even contemplating a repair like that.
I guess I could sit on my ass in front of a computer screen then racking up a whole bunch of posts then? Grandaddy always said the the Net turns iron in your blood to lead in your ass. It is less an issue of time than it is one of the money it would take to replace a board like that; one that has only about ten days on it. Plus, I think the challenge would be enjoyable in addition to the enjoyment I get out of working on my own gear. To each their own.

As others have already pointed out, What you are asking for IS TECHNICAL ADVICE! ... and belongs in tech talk.
Wrong. I am asking for no such thing dude, as I have already pointed out. I am merely asking whether or not anyone has done it. Not how, not why, not why it shouldn't be done, not what material they used, the process - you know, the technical aspects of such an endeavor. Merely whether or not the endeavor has been attempted out of curiousity. It is called reading comprehension - you should look into it before you make claims about someone's post that are clearly not what you claim them to be. Where you are getting confused is in the fact that the people that have responded have told me it is an impossible feat and breifly why. They are offering technical advice I am not asking for in lieu of an answer to my actual, nontechnical question. Talk to them about the content of their posts, not me.

It is not worth fixing, either by yourself or by a professional.
Worth is relative. Not only is it relative, it is not a judgement I am asking for, but thankyou for proffering technical advice I am not seeking..

You would have received a much kinder responce from this crowd if your original and subsequent posts were not so full of attitude. so, my technical advice is:
Who is complaining about unkind responses? Why do you preceive a problem where one does not exsist? And, thanks, but no thanks. I am not asking for technical advice. I am only asking, out of curiousity, whether or not somebody has done what I am going to do. What is so difficult to understand about this. If I get technical about the process, again, I will keep you updated in the Tech Talk section.
I take it you have not done this then either. Thankyou for responding to a question I did not ask. Your pessimism is duly noted. Just a snowboard edge - it can be fixed, but here is not the place to discuss how - that is for Tech Talk.

TECH TALK YOU JONG-TASTIC BITCH!!!
Sorry, couldn't help after being told not to admonish him about using Tech Talk
Don't apologize. This kind of response would have come with or without the blow me clause. I expected it and I was right. Thankyou for being predictable.
