Norway is outside the European Union too, so my orders are also without VAT. However, the norwegian VAT ALWAYS get added on to the bill. As the VAT in Norway is 25% :cussing: relative to the EU's 17%, it is not exactly a good deal. Whether the US authorities actually have intelligence to discover such an order, is beyond my knowledge (judging from the intelligence in Iraq, I suppose not :rolleyes2 )
There are no tariffs on sports goods in Norway, but if you have that in the US I would expect that to be added onto the bill as well.

whether they are colleted can be a crapshoot.
My 3 week ago experience from ordering Sumo from TP was like that:
I got my skis in 3,5 days after my order by internet. Delivered by UPS with tracking number all the time;
Shipping was 40 Euros.
Living in Canada I didn't pat the VAT
3 weeks later I've got a tax bill.
2 taxes one from Canada and the Quebec sale taxe (15% total or 115$ Can).
Quiet a surprise there was no accise tax (on website it was suppose to be 7,5% more). Maybe later I don't know!
The total price so far is:
Sumo skis: 556 Euros + 44 Euros (shipping)= 600 Euros or 793$ Can + taxes (119$ C) = 912 $ C. Compair to 1200$ + 15,5% taxes = 1386$ C in a ski shop in Québec. It worths the price to order from France. Someone is laughing of customers in North America (the distributors).:mad:
In US the price is 800$us or 960 $ (1,20$ exchange rate). Then sale taxes: 15,5%. No accise tax from NA Free Trade Agreement. Total: 1 104$. Cheaper from US than In Quebec.
By the way: it was a nice and fast service from TP. :D
