But, the Social and Spiritual fruition more than account for anything owed. :)
If I had a higher credit limit, I might have gone into debt for a pair of super-stiff BROs.
I'd don't know that I'd say I've gone into debt because of skiing, but I'd probably be completely out of debt if it weren't for skiing.
just about to say the exact same thing!Quote:

Season of '03/04... I got laid off in January, and proceeded to ski every day, making trips around Colorado, one out to Utah and one out to Tahoe. Between all of that, my credit card was absolutely maxed out as it never had before. I had saved up enough money, enough so that if I had just stuck to my little local podunk resort, I would've been fine. Nothing serious, but it hurt for a solid year and a half. It was TOTALLY worth it.
Like the good man Nater said, I'd surely be in less debt right now without skiing...
I'm currently about $4000 in CC debt. I'll likely add another $2-3000 to it by February. The interest alone is a killer. Next year I'm looking at spending about $15000 on skiing if we make a family trip . Better hope for a raise.
Skiing - no. Snowboarding - yeah. March was basically paid for on my cc. Some of Feb too.
YES! !!Quote:

Actually, last year I got a credit card just so I could get a pass, and was still carrying that debt when I bought this year's pass with it. I won't EVEN get into discussing gear debt......
