Important CAIC website note

To all Staff, Observers, Cooperators & Friends of the CAIC:

Technical note. Yesterday, the CAIC website was switched to another server. A few technical glitches have become apparent after the website was restored today. Until further notice, access to the CAIC website requires an additional " / " than in the past.

The required path is now..... http://geosurvey.state.co.us/avalanche/

This should get you in just as before. We'll let you know if the final " / " ever goes away.

Feel free to pass this info on to any of your friends that may have gotten shut out from the CAIC website the last 2 days.

The state IT folks told us (IE CAIC) today that the server is up and running correctly.

As far as if you need to have the forward slash and the end of the web address, it seems to work with and without it. Go figure....
