Shoulder doc and pt Seattle

Crashed my MTB last week and posted out my arm resulting in a solid shoulder strain. Urgent care did an xray and said not broken. It&#39;s been slowly feeling better and next step is some pt and maybe an ortho for an mri. Looking for recommendations for good pt or ortho docs that focus on shoulders. Preferably NE Seattle or Tukwila area for the PT, but willing to travel further for the doc.&nbsp;<br />

Dr. Samuel Koo down in Kirkland is probably best shoulder guy in the region. He was the only one doing a rare/last ditch type of surgery in the greater PNW as of last fall (when i got mine done). I checked around with multiple other orthos (from unassociated clinics) and they all reccomended i see Koo as they said he was THE guy for shoulders.

That said, I would probably reccomend you just go to your local ortho so they can order the imaging... and then if you arent totally comfortable with the ortho, or want a 2nd opinion, you can take your imaging to Koo or another ortho of your choice. Shoulders suck, and it would be smart to get imaging done before PT so everyone is working off the best information available instead of just guessing.
