I had a few laps this spring to demo the updated version. Much improved IMO with a better high-end to the ski. It's still very much in line with the rest of the QST lineup with uber intuitive user-friendly steering that supports beginner-advanced users, and at times can feel a bit vanilla as a result, but a very good ski in the lineup. Regardless of the conditions, I would take this every day over the Salomon QST X which IMO is a dog.
