I'm looking for some super burly, rather large gear / boot bags that are large enough to fit EVERYTHING a person needs for a ski trip to have the gear all self-contained. I.e. Fits Boots, helmet, 2 pairs googles, gloves, wool jersey, 2 pairs ski socks and top & bottom base layer.I''ve poked at some at a local shop, but they weren't really big enough to carry it all. Seems like including a helmet is a little too much..Any recommendations?

I have the kulkea thermal trekker. I fit everything you want (and more) in it. They also have the regular trekker that is cheaper. I got mine new for $100 on Facebook marketplace. I would not pay the retail price to warm up my boots.
The only thing that fits that is the old school duffle. Boots at each end. Helmet gloves goggles socks base layers shell pants shell jacket. Enough for a long weekend.
Mine is wearing out and I can’t find them anymore except the thin cheap shit.
I wish a quality company would bring them back
I use a Dakine rollar bag for ski travel. They should have something you'd like. Although, my personal favorite is an old Rossignol rollar bag that's not made anymore. It has a lower compartment that stored my boots, helmet and a few other items, and a top compartment for everthing else.
^^^^ yeah. I know those. I don’t like flipping the upper over after zipping the top closed.

The old school bags were easier. Just not made anymore with quality materials.

I have an enormous atomic one. With heaters. Pretty fucking great, tbh. Room for boots and zipfits separately or two pairs of boots (or three pairs of my kids' boots) and helmet,goggles,layers, etc.

The Dakine 75L bag is going to be dependant on your size. I have big boots and a big helmet (29.5/XL) so my soft goods don’t fit well inside. It works better for my wife with 23.5 boots.
If I did it over again I’d just get a big ass racer bag. Ideally one with spots for two sets of boots (I currently carabiner my Zipfits to the outside). I would make no effort to keep the bag small and just carry my boots on no-bag on the rare occasion I fly.

But again I like having boots at the end. With resvin style if you have clothes up top you need to mag them up to get the boots in. At least transpac has side pockets.

I have the older Thule 60L bag. Everything fits and it's a breeze to haul it through the airport. Also, I have three years on this bag with lots of regular trips and it has held up nicely.
I haul all my shit in a Patagonia Black Hole Seventy. Everything fits with room to spare. Comes with detachable backpack straps if you travel. Bulletproof construction, my kids will fight over it when I die.

The Mammut Cargon 60 duffel fits all my kit, including helmet, though I have small-ish boots (25.5). Also bulletproof, and has a (mostly) waterproof bottom which is great for snowy parking lots. It fits perfectly in overhead bins too so is good for travel.If you want something ski-specific, however, the race bags noted above will serve you well.

The big Lange fits a fuck-ton of gear - pretty sure my 12 year old could crawl inside that thing (the Rossi bag is the same if you can't find the Lange). It's got access to the big storage bin from 3 different directions (front/back/top) and the side to the backpack straps folds down so you can stand on it and not get feet wet. The race place looks to have most of the big 80+L bags in stock. I'll switch to one if my old Rossi duffel with the boot ends ever dies (it's 20+ years old...). If I had my way, they'd all have white interiors though to make finding shit easier.
I have a large Pelican im2750 storm case. It hold boots, helmets and all the stuff. It is way overkill for carrying things that aren't cameras, drones, nuclear footballs, etc. I have an even larger pelican case I carry extra stuff in. I used to carry everything in Ogio roller bags but they generally fell apart. The Pelican cases cost me zero dollars-right place, right time

Hockey goalie bag. Huge. Some of them have pockets on either end for skates that will fit ski boots
I have one from years ago. It is like a duffel (with a flat bottom) and the bottom is a zip off ski boot bag, that can be used just as a separate bag also (and I did use it as my primary ski boot bag for a number of years. Don't even remember the brand at this point. However it does not make for a good solution for flying as you want have your boots as a carry on and if you unzip the boot bag portion to take on the plane, then the other part of the bag is just a canvas type of bottom and not very reinforced. It made for a great solution for bus trips that we used to do for a weekend or a bit longer. It also was hard to fill and keep under the 50 pound luggage limit of the airlines theses days. I'm sure it is in a closet upstairs if you wanted to know more.
I use the Sportube overhead bag. Fits everything except a helmet but I have to fly so size is a concern for me.
I don’t believe the Dakine Boot Locker has been mentioned. I store all my gear in it - so it’s just grab and go for me…

For flying use Dakine’s simple boot bag + a small backpack as carry on - all the other gear and clothes goes in the roller…
