My buddy's favorite pow weapons aka Volkl One. Barely releasing underfoot away from bindings. No lateral movement away from base material. Fill that tiny gap with some type of epoxy and clamp?

jam some toothpicks in the gap to open it up a bit. mix some g flex then heat it up with a hair dryer to get it runny. use a paperclip or similarly sized applicator to start filling the gap, then hit it with some compressed air to really get the epoxy in there. fill rest of the gap liberally. put scrapers on topsheet and base then clamp, using every clamp you got.
Tell him to just keep skiing them until the edges really pull out. Then get new skis. I mean - they're "pow weapons" so, TBH, they don't even really need edges.
:D
Do what Stealurface said. If that fails then dremel it out as big as you can, just past the delam line, fill with epoxy, then place it back and clamp. Then file.
Then if that fails again, cut it out and reshape with epoxy ala the Crested Butte and Big Sky traditions.
