Identify binding pattern?

Hi all,

Looking for some collective wisdom to weigh in here - I found some 4Frnt Hoji 191cm skis in the neighborhood.

I'm trying to identify this below binding pattern - doesn't resemble any alpine or dual use (marker duke pt or shifts) jigs or templates that I have access to.

My prevailing guess is that they are tech pin bindings.

I looked at my Compare Binding Pattern pdf I downloaded a while back and it's likely it's not containing all the latest in tech pin binding wizardry.

I'm sure some of you binding gurus will nail this mystery for me.

Top photo is toes, so that isn’t the pivot pattern. Bottom photo is heels, also not pivots based on my jig.

But I think you are onto something with the Dynafits. Will dig around a bit more to see if I can make a positive ID as I may be able to reuse holes for my BSL.

Thanks - I have that compare binding patterns pdf from that folder but didn’t see a pattern that resembled what’s in the pics.

What's fucking with my analysis is there's no bindings I can see that mount the rear holes on the toepiece wider than the forward pair, except the fritschi and the heel obviously isn't that. You definitely have two different bindings there at least.

You can still see the outline of the mounting plates. Maybe the shape can be recognized?

I -did- find a mount that followed that rear-toepiece-wider rule...it was a telemark. Which I would have just ruled out, if these weren't Hojis and therefore one of the go-to choices for smelly redjackets. And you'd think, rear mount holes too, but I've seen those loonies put in pin heels.

Along with the radical hole patterns, the other holes look like a dynafit superlite with the toes @ skinny/front wide/rear and heels with slightly narrower rearward holes

skimo.co has a page for hole id that references length/width. Worth a measure and compare to the table.

Whatever it is, one of those mounts (the one that nearly overlaps) was botched pretty seriously.

Toe holes could be one of the ATKs maybe the C-Raider 12? Of course then the heel would be too.
Possible G3 Ion or Zed as the other set.
Shame on whoever mounted them that close together.

Thanks for the assist on this detective mission - I agree the mount is crap as they are super close together way inside what I’m comfortable with and I probably wouldn’t run those binding anyway.

Well I’ll play around with some mountains to see what would work as the 3rd mount….
