My buddy Theo lives and surfs down there. Just seeing if anybody knows him. He is from Taos, went to CU, is probably the best skier I have ever seen in person, and has reportedly put that same focus towards surfing. He made a surf movie in Fiji a couple years back, with some friends.
Anybody know this guy? I saw him at a wedding in Tahoe, but forgot to tell him to get on the board.
I'm in Santa Barbara but don't know Theo. Between here and Mammoth, I should have to make the hard decision of surf good reef and points or ski pow and good terrain in the Sierra.
Nothing like passing Rincon FIRING on your way up to Mammoth and feeling really torn. Last winter I remember glancing over to see complete insanity at Rincon and just about stopping and turning around. Just made excuses instead, ahh it's too crowded, bunch of kooks etc and headed onward. Well at least Mammoth did not suck...
