RIP James Earl Jones. One of my favorite celebrity bike customers ever. Humble and kind and he never even bothered asking what they cost.

First experienced Mr Jones as Thulsa Doom. Star Wars voice-over didn’t imprint quite the same. Loved Conan comics and the movies as a young teen.

What a career- everything from Dr. Strangelove to Roots, Star Wars, even the Simpsons. RIP
And Arby's commercials
“The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball”.
RIP
+1 to this thread title over the other one.
I thought so too when I saw the other one, we posted at exactly the same time.
wouldn't the star wars nerds say that death does not mean that the force has left him?
This is CNN
He was a stutterer as a child.
Just saw someone post a clip of him doing Letterman’s Top 10 of “Things that sound cooler when read by James Earl Jones”.
Classic Dave, classic JEJ not taking himself too seriously.
He was also the last surviving member of the cast of Kubrick's Dr. Strangelove which came out in 1964. That's quite a multi-decade spanning career. A total legend.
There was another black and white nuclear apocalypse movie he was in. Anybody remember the name? He's on a ship that is hunting a Soviet sub. I think it is from before Dr. Strangelove.
He’s become more powerful than you could possibly imagine

"We remember and honor the incredible life of James Earl Jones. As the first celebrity guest to appear on Sesame Street, he forever shaped how we reach both children and their caregivers. His timeless contributions to education, entertainment, and the arts have left an indelible mark on generations. Thank you for being part of our street, Mr. Jones. " -- Sesame Street
Very good as the CIA Chief in THE HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER. Especially the scene where he surprises Jack Ryan (Alec Baldwin) telling him who’s giving a White House briefing …
