non-popular bouldering areas in the front range?

me and a few friends are looking to go pull some rock today...

looking for somewhere different where few people go...

anything up by indian peaks?

Sorry, didn't see this...uhhh how non-popular? Actually, mostly I know the non-popular boulders at the popular places, for instance Sanitas (my old home bouldering area) has a few totally untraveled but fun boulders, same with fag'staff.

And while it isn't front range, swan mtn can be entertaining for an hour or so.

we went to Big Elk meadows....a couple fun problems and a really fun traverse...only saw 2 people who were leaving....nice area

RMNP and Lumpy have some great bouldering that I have never seen another soul on- lots of first ascents to be had.

I unfortunatly dont remember directions well enough for specific areas- but it might be worth a hike to look around.

Big Elk is good. For cooler weather Carter Lake is good and doesn't see much traffic. Are you familiar with the Wild Basin boulder? Lumpy, Suzuki boulder, there's a few other roadside boulders in RMNP.

If there's anything around Ned or in the Indian Peaks it's a well kept secret. There almost surely is but I have never heard of any.

Check out the Barrio for a roadside fix in boulder canyon. Also good is the Freight Train.

I agree. If you want to know my favorite spot, we'll have to meet up for beers sometime. :D
