Fix yer seat with AQS
So here are the typicaly well thrashed corners on a naugahyde seat cover, both corners and the nose are thrashed but the seat is still functionaly OK it just looks like shit. I found the WTB Speed to be a really comfy seat to sit on so I thot why not fix it instead paying $$ to buy a new seat ?

Before pictures ^^
Both corners are all torn up so I colored them with a black sharpie cuz the AQS will be clear and the white would have shown thru but you don't really see black sharpie under the AQS

last but not least the nose job on which i used painters tape to get that sharp line
For the corners I splooged on the AQS product and taped a piece of plastic tightly on the corner to profile the seat, the plastic gives the AQS a smoove finish
I ould have made more of an effort to getcleaner lines but I am reasonably happy with the results
The AQS has had a couple days to cure and in case you wonder this will be a permanent fix

$15 of aquaseal on a $37 saddle. That is the TGR way.

A new speed looks to be twice that $$, the seat didn't take much so I still got > 1/2 the tube in the freezer for the next repair

Half a tube! That should be more than enough to glue the knobs back on a minion. I'm sure that'll be fine.

it bothers me what you're doing to the mug of coffee. On multiple levels.

I'm sorry i didnt finish my coffee, that cup went in the DW, it was just to prop the seat up
I got 1/2 a doz seats in a box but I want THAT seat and I will keep an eye out for a new speed
