Anyone have experience of them? Views? Opinions? Search is turning up nothing and I’ve not found much online.
I want a 3-piece/tongue boot with GW soles and pin inserts. I was eyeing the Dalbello Cabrio Free but the Diverges have a wider last (102mm) so might fit my freakishly wide forefeet better. Also intuition tour wrap liners in 120 flex (where the Cabrio is tongue only in 120 flex - and I prefer wrap to tongue).
Are the Diverge what the FT Ascendant was?
Would this be confirmation it’s the same boot?

I’m in the 98mm last versions. I’ve tried on the Cabrios and width didn’t feel like a problem. You should probably ask in the Dalbello or bootfitter threads, but I would guess they would work for you with minor boot work at the most, at least for the width.
As others have said the Diverge SC is the same boot as the ascendant sc when we branded it Full Tilt. We have a number of updates Sammy had requested in the newest Diverge including the adjustable spoiler and a new upper cable latch to make it easier to keep the cables in place when the tongues are removed.
The forefoot is pretty wide as is the toe box but we keep the heel pretty much the same as our 99mm lasted boots so you get a good heel hold.
Tongues are available from 130 to 90 so you can dial in whatever flex you need.
Also new this season is the booster powerstrap which we modeled after a race version of an aftermarket booster strap.

Hey Tom, thanks for dropping in. Does the booster strap give the feel of a higher cuff? Or is it more about flex and power transfer (or something else)?

The booster style strap won’t really change cuff height but the adjustable spoiler will do that. The booster is more for initial flex and also rebound. The elasticated strap means you can get into the flex a little faster and easier compared to a rigid strap but it will stiffen up as you get into the flex. You may also find a slightly faster rebound too but it’s mainly the initial flex which changes.Quote:

Does anyone how the fit and flex of the k2 diverge SC compare to the nordica sportmachine 120?
Its going to be snugger in the heel for sure. More similar in the forefoot but I would imagine you will still find it somewhat tighter. The instep will be harder to compare due to the different designs.Quote:
