The daughter is looking at U of A engineering and climbing would be a big part of her life there.

Can't offer beta on hang outs, but lived and climbed all over AZ for six years. Year around climbing in that state with an amazing variety of rock. Such a great place.Quote:

The stronghold is close, remote, pristine, and classic. But there is no scene that I know of. Just tell her to grab a bunch of friends and go camp there and send.
Only problem with Arizona is the heat. Hard to find good summer temperatures.
