Hey Midwesterners! I know we need to wait for the snow to fly, but we definitely need to put together a Mini. Even if it's a Gaperfest at MRM or Mount Holly. Sack up you pussies, let's get together!! :FIREdevil :D

gaper day at MRM would be gnar
It has always been a dream of mine to get a large group together and organize a meeting at a ski hill posing as The John Deer Enthusiasts of Southern Indiana, or something to that effect and then get all dressed up in the best gaper gear and just terrorize a shitty hill for a day.
..someday...
Do it at a ritzy hill like Deer Valley.......that'd be cool! :wink:Quote:

Buck it up and plan a trip to Bohemia screw that Mt Holly crap!
So, uh, you're a JONG, right? Not everyone is a guy on this forum. And the whole point of gaper day is to gape it up and have fun. And there's plenty of people who would rather drive 14 hours to CO than to Bohemia.Quote:

tan Carhart overalls (with bovine feces stains) + camo John Deere hat = hard core exxxtreme
gotta look like you just got done with the morning milkin' and then hit the slopes.
Will do, need some snow first.Quote:

Nohills, sounds good to me, would rather not have it at MRM as that is a huge trek for me, maybe somewhere more central in michigan.
We could totally kill it at somplace like timber ridge, bittersweet or swiss valley. all within 3 hours of me, less than 2 for you, and probobly 2 or less for most other michigan maggs, unles they are upper mitten or yoopers. I spend quite a bit of time at the boynes and nubs too, so we could do it there.
As far as i am concerned, Bohemia is too far of a trek for most, as good as it is, its better to go west with teh amount of drive time involved.
I could, potentially, make it to one of these three, pending approval from my free time manager(gf).Quote:

The only thing is that there is a good chance we dont get noticed at all, and end up making a bunch of new redneck friends.
If we do it the last couple weeks in December, I'm in for anywhere in Michigan......except for Mt. Holly and the like. I don't go to that side of the state.
