So yeah, this movie was pretty bad. In an Ice Spiders kind of way.
While I wasn’t as smitten with it as most folks seem to be, I wouldn’t say it was Ice Spiders bad. I mean the FX were pretty decent (done by WETA), it was just the story that was meh in that it never fully committed to raunchy blood soaked madness, instead trying to balance that with a Disney-styled story about family love…Quote:

I think when my expectations are very low, it's easier to enjoy the movie. This is one of those movies.
I couldn't make it through the last 30 minutes.
I was pleasantly surprised. Had a stressful week and it was the perfect distraction. Laughed our asses off the whole time, but especially when the old lady on the. gurney skidded her face on the pavement. Not sure why, kinda fucked up. Anyway. I'd recommend it. I grew up in those woods. haha
