since it reslid in irene, it's def an avy death trap in spots. big slabs pouring in from the sides as well. fun ski though when it's right.
Think I posted this story in the ECRC when it happened. Still seems weird to me he wasn’t reported missing until 5 days after his hike. But yeah, trap dike and angel are both death traps.
Avalanche Lake at the bottom should be a clue.
I almost set off the entire angel slide many years ago. Huge crack across the entire thing. Dancing w the dragon in the adk.
