Anybody seen this doc?
I sadly missed it when it was in the theaters over the summer.
It just won the Best Documentary Academy Award.
Interestingly enough, a former journalist/critic colleague of mine, Joseph Patel, was the producer on it, so he took home an Oscar over the weekend.
Streaming on Hulu (so I am gonna have to do a free trial ASAP!).
First film I saw in the theater post pandemic.
Walked down to the local indy theater day or 2 after release.
loved every minute of it.
so much amazing music.
