I tried to use them to sell my bike, which is popular model and worth near $1k. They didn't want it. Apparently they want high end bikes.

They gave me a quote on an ibis ripmo af within 24 hours. I sold it locally for a couple hundred more.
It's easy enough to get a quote. I'd go start there to see if you agree.
I've also gotten a better price selling locally, but it's more hassle to meet, haggle, etc.
The process once the bike is out of your hands is easy and smooth.
I sold my bike to them. I was hoping to get $4500, they offered $3900. So I spent a week talking on the phone and emailing with prospective buyers, gave up and sent it to the Pro's Closet.
The money was in my account two hours after UPS dropped it at their door.
It was easy. Would use them again.

I have a few friends that have used them, both buying and selling. They all say the same thing, they are in business, you won't get as much for your bike as it's worth, but close enough that if you don't want to hassle, then it is maybe worth it. Also, if you're buying, you're buying at a premium, but the bike will actually show up as described and you're dealing with a business, not some dude 2 states over that sounded nice in the ebay messenger.
I bought a frame from them, great experience!
I bought a bike (aluminum crux) through their eBay store a few years back. It showed up quickly and in good working order. Looks like they have moved upmarket but no issues from the buyer side.
