On Saturday, I was biking and clipped a tree with the top of my left hand/pinkie/ring finger. It hurt for a bit, but the pain pretty much went away. Yesterday my two fingers were kind of numb, but no pain and no swelling. Today, the numbness seems to have spread a bit from my fingers to the left side of my hand. There isn't any pain and it doesn't seem to affect the function of my hand, but the tingly feeling is sort of weird.
Anyone ever had this happen?

Which fingers, Z? SOunds like a bit of nerve bruising. I may be worth getting checked to find out the source of the problem with some nerve conduction tests just in case you have knocked something out of alignment and a nerve is being compressed. Don't delay, nerves take a long time to heal and though it may not seem much, loss of sensation in the hand can be a real pain in the arse. Our hands are as much about sensation (for exploration of our environment) as fine movement.
It seems to be better now, although it's not completely gone. It is mainly my pinkie, but it does go into my hand a bit. If it's still wierd next week or happens again, I'll go have it checked out...
