atomic sucks!!!!!!!!
I know this should be in tech talk, but I want everyone to see this. They denied a warranty request on a cracked edge with NO DAMAGE. Did I mention it had 3 days of course only skiing on it. SX-11, eff em. They admitted that last years skis have too hard an edge, fixed it this year. So I got a pair from the NH rep of last years on proform, skied 3 days, go to tune, find a cracked edge, ok, no biggy. Shop sends em in for me, and they get sent back after 3 weeks with a note that says I impacted something and tried to cover it up with a base grind, they have been base ground once, before they hit snow, just to set a structure for the base. AHAHGSAGSFKOJHAgfasjok. Glade I spent the money to get a pure skier cross race ski to compete the season on. EFF Them, so done with that company. SO anyone want so sx-11 3 days, 6-14 binders, one cracked outside edge under boot.
SORRY, end rant!!!

Call up Atomic and tell them yourself. As much as I don't like them as a company for many reasons, they should have to replace them. A cracked edge is something that can't be covered up by a stonegrind. Talk to the warrenty people. Or have a dealer that deals alot in Atomic send them back. A shop that sells a lot of Atomic has a better chance of getting them covered than a smaller shop. Atomic has a two year warrenty so find something else on the ski and use that for a warrenty. Take a heat gun to the tail and cause it to delam... I hate to suggest such things but Atomic should stand by a cracked edge especially when it has happened to many of their skis last season.

What shop? Shoot me an Email. I got an Atomic rep who lives down the road and he's a long-time customer of mine, I'll pass it on and see what comes up.Worth a shot.
