Favorite Covers 2: That other mag (Couloir spam)

I thought the feedback in KD's thread on Powmag covers was really interesting to observe. The TGR board represents a pretty solid group of our readers, whose input we definitely value for your dedication. Since we're looking at a bunch of potential covers for the season, I thought I'd ask for a quick vote of your favorite Couloir covers from this past season. Since we separate newsstand and subscriber (with our Naked Covers), I'm curious to hear about photo choice (action, color, setting, etc) and which one you'd be most likely to pick up.

Jumper... If you mean the Peaks and Passes article on Cooke City's Mt. Cooke and Mt Republic, then it was the December issue shown above (XVII-3). If you're thinking of something else, I'll have to go check the back issues.

I'm in Oct and Nov so it'd have to be one of those two. :p

But since the magazine is devoted to “Backcountry Adventure”…we’d need the voters to pass a special test that qualifies them as backcountry skiers making them eligible to vote on said topic. ;)

keep shit simple. Every other mag cover out there is the same. Go naked cover for every issue, including newstand copies. It keeps the suspense going. Make the content inside a surprise to the readers while at the same time making the cover a piece of art rather than a bunch of words on top of a nice photographic image.

Try something new this year and I bet you will be pleased.
