The next step!! Input needed

So after an excellent 4 years at college I have atlast graduated and can now fufill my dream of moving towards a western mountain town. I have narrowed it down to lake tahoe and am leaning towards south lake due to the lower cost of season passes at heavenly and kwood.. I have a few leads in terms of places to stay but nothin really concrete.. So here is the deal...

Due to some constraints:

1. I will be moving westward late november /early december ..i undestand that this may make finding a job slightly difficult.. yet i would be content working every so often just to have some cash flow...

2. I can only stay until April due to work obligations back east...

Any input on behalve of you guys would be greatly appreciated whether it be stories or even advice on where to go and where to work!!

Work your ass off from now until you leave. Keep a tight budget from now until then. Move out west, buy a pass, find cheap digs, work part time or even better not at ALL. Ski everyday, move back in April, start your job. Just keep in mind that out of all the things I just listed; moving back will be the most difficult of the bunch. Good luck.
