Well I'm moving Saturday from my current apartment into an apartment in a house in Draper on Saturday. Unfortunately, my non-maggot friends have other obligations preventing them from helping me move :( . So I'm calling on the maggot network for help. It should only take a couple of hours and I'll buy beers for all involved and return the favor in the future. Thanks to anyone that can help. Either post or PM me your phone # so I can call you and coordinate things.

Can't offer any help (because I live in PA), but good luck with the move. I just had the worst, most disorganized, move of my life a few days ago- couldn't get a truck, car kept dying, it was 95 degrees out and the place I was moving into is a third-story walkup. I felt as though I had run a marathon when I woke up the next day, my quads were absolutely shredded.

So, whatcha need moved? heavy stuff? I'm a burly girl, and moved lots of heavy things before, but I don't need to push it too much... but at least I could offer ya some help. it's better than nothing.
I really don't have that much furniture. 1 couch, dining table, bed, desk, dresser, end table, coffee table, and a couple of small storage shelves. The rest is just boxes of stuff. Mostly I just don't want it to be only me and the wife available to move the heavy stuff. The wife is strong but I don't want to end up dropping one of the few pieces of furniture we own. And on that powday excuse. I passed on a 30 inch fresh bluebird day at Alta 2 years ago to help my uncle move and he can't seem to get out of running a shaved ice machine at a charity event to help me move :rolleyes2 .

I would be there in a heartbeat--but I've kind of got a wedding anniversary that day. As shallow as it sounds, I'm not sure my wife pictured "maggot moving day" as a nice romantic anniversary activity. If it was any other weekend, I'd be there. :frown:

I feel bad I can't be there, UTD. We'll be neck deep in wedding preparations this weekend. You know it's serious when I not only can't help someone move, but, I also can't even get away to take care of skiing for the month of August... :(
