After some unforseen circumstances with scoober's car, we decided to pull the trigger and trade in his Subaru.

2002 Saab 9-3 SE, navy blue with tan leather interior. Certified pre-owned with 70k or 3 more years of bumper to bumper warranty. It had one owner, who leased the car. The best part is that it's a manual and it hauls ass. :biggrin:

I randomly pulled the trigger on a new Audi A3 order to replace the '89 Honda. The guy even sold it to me at invoice which is amazing given there aren't any at my local dealer and the thing just came out. Really fast/fun car...
Was going to go used as we did on Mrs. Comish's car, but then did the math and with the amount of miles I'm going to drive, resulting term I would keep said used car, invoice pricing, etc this worked out quite a bit better.
Now starts the excruciating wait...

You should check out ScanWest Autosports in Greenwood for service. (not sure if it's compatible with your warranty, but those guys kick ass) I don't generally feel the need to plug other businesses, but I've been super happy with them when I've taken my old Saab there.Quote:

I am beginning the process of getting a new car. I test drove the A3 and was please with the ride. I also tried the new Maxima and finally saw the new Passat (hope to drive one within the next couple of weeks). Between the Maxima and A3 I'd probably get the A3. What it lacks in practical space it makes up with the engine (DSG is very smooth) and the ride. I liked the Maxima, but it was not as fun to drive as the A3 even with the much more powerful engine.Quote:
