My girlfriend has a mac, and has been downloading all her pics to iPhoto.
Now, when she pulls up the folders, all the thumbnails are blank. it looks like she relocated them, and erased the orig. that links to the thumbnail. I have no idea where to look for the copies.
Since I have no idea what she could have done, does anyone have any suggestions?
If you know the name of 1 of the photos then do a Search on the machine.
iPhoto generally imports the files and leaves the originals. If she goes to her "Pictures" folder and then to the iPhoto Library, there should be a bunch of folders there sorted by year. All her originals should be in there. She could copy them back to the original folder if they're really not there.
