My 4runner makes an annoying-as-fuck "whooosh-whoosh-whooosh" noise coming from the front end when I am between 35 and 45 mph. It sounds like the movie sound effects for slow motion heli blades. Noise disappears >50mph or <30mph
Nothing looks out of place, Alignment done 15k miles ago. Brakes? Bearings? shitty alignment?
Not sure if it is coincidental or not, but I plowed into some traffic cones avoiding a collision with an 18-wheeler on the freeway the night before I noticed the noise.
Fender liner or some similar plastic piece loose up front?

Never get repairs done at a dealership unless you're not paying for it (warranty/insurance...etc.) That being said, unless you've got a cheap African/Middle-Eastern shop you trust, you'd still be paying out the nose on this one. The brake rotor/pads you can easily replace yourself with an internet FAQ. If it fucked up the caliper, you might as well have them fix it while they're at it. The seals and axle bearings are a messy pain in the ass.
