My new ride....
http://www.salsacycles.com/frames/im...erBike_580.jpg
After much debate and input from a lot of sources (you guys included), I decided to roll the dice and get this! I wanted something different and this certainly fits the bill. A Salsa Dos Niner – that’s a bike with 29” wheels for those not up with the latest. I was able to get the frame and a Reba fork and will build it out from my existing pile of parts. I’m planning on using this for the rest of this season and then getting a ‘big squish’ bike for a 2nd ride next year. That way I’ll have the best of both worlds! I ended up going with the Mavic 317 wheels with XT hubs since there isn’t a lot of choice in 29’er wheels and I’m not super sold on the 317 but they should be OK.
Next year I’ll prolly end up with a Yeti or some type of Gary Fisher but, as always, it depends on the hook up to some extent. See you an the trail!!!!
This replaces a Klein Palamino - anybody want to buy a frame?

I've seen those around and they're sweet...congrats on the new ride! Is it a pivotless softtail?
