I will take this to my doctor soon, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced a really bad case of the pectoral stretch. April 9th, I jumped off a 15 footer at Kirkwood and landed too far in the backseat with the result that I got a massive pectoral stretch as my arms caught the snow. I hurt like hell the first 10 seconds but then got bearable for the rest of the day. But my sternum is still sore, 3 months later. Any advice and/or experiences from anyone?

I'm mostly concerned about a similar situation happening next season if I'm not 100% healed. I guess it's not a problem as long as I stick my landings.

i get a thing in my shoulder from shitty landings on my board. but that doesn't help any.

Sounds like maybe a case of a separated rib ( google : costocartilage separation). The rib separates from the cartilage it attaches to. Very painful, very long time to heal.
