Cardrona, NZ - July 14th - Things are looking up....
So I got my first pow turns and core shot of the season. 20cm of new with a lot of wind made a huge difference and there was marginal coverage (as opposed to NO coverage) today and a lot of creamy windbuffed pow.
The best pow was only a 8-10 turn line that was really bony in most places but had pockets of good stuff. Of course that run ended in a core shot but I did do about kept going back for more. The little snowfall has made a huge difference out here and hopefully we will be getting a lot more.

Looking North from the backside of Cardrona.
That view would be a lot nicer from a Heli!

Snowpark today. They finally have the temps to hammer out some snow from the guns. Hopefully they will have some more jumps and the pipe will be rocking soon. I am pretty happy about finally getting my pass situated there!
Well, hopefully we will be getting some more snow soon.
