I'll be in the area 4/6-7, anyone interested in skinning / skiing Humphrey's? Driving up from Phoenix if you want to ride with. Seems as though there is enough snow to do this based on weather station data but if any locals think otherwise I'm all ears.

We often do get some surprise dumps in April and May. I'll try to keep those dates free and if I can I'll take ya out there.
And......you will really want to have climbing crampons for your touring bindings here. We usually have to climb through frozen rime ice, over rocks, logs etc. on our skin tracks. We have a unique touring environment here and nothing comes easy on the Peaks. It's hard on people that aren't used to it but I sort of like that about this place.
