Sox need some pop, otherwise hopefully they can get a WC bid.
Go Cubs Go!
I am feeling pretty good this week as a Cubs fan!
The Yankees will get a big karma hit for not letting an Astros fan start this thread! (Here's hoping at least).
No sense of decorum, those Yankee fans.
ROLL TRIBE
Alex Cora looks like he could still play.

they're going to need it. Astros won it all with their starters missing lots of parts of the season and didn't get kate upton's husband until late. the Astros should smoke the AL with a healthy starting rotation for the entire year.
i'm no diehard Astros fan, but reality is it's going to be rough for anyone to beat them outside a healthy tribe team.
Hey Chowds, reports that Boston came calling the Tribe about Encarnacion and asked what it would take to get the slugger.
JBJ was the reply.

ETA: sad news: Tito Francona, Terry’s Dad, and former member of the Tribe, passed away today.
Rockies are going to slay it...... in April / May and then choke in June on....... I do love me sum Rockies baseball though. Just a realist.

Maybe the most picturesque, but not the best place to watch a baseball game.
Doyer Stadium is a great place to work on your Spanish.

JD Martinez to the Sox
Hope his heart is in it. Didn't seem too eager, but maybe just hoping to get blown away by a deal...picked the wrong year for it.
Man i'm amped on my san diego padres scooping up Eric Hosmer. Not the complete answer, but a nice snag. Hoping for the first season above .500 in like 6 years or something... LOL
Fucking retarded???

Rich Eisen, on his radio show Wednesday, said an MLB executive told him of an idea about allowing the manager of the trailing team to bat whomever he chooses in the ninth inning in an effort to ramp up more excitement.
“Baseball is the only sport by mere randomness and happenstance, the best players are not out on the field with the game on the line,” Eisen said. “Potentially down by two, ninth inning, you got 7-8-9 up. You can pinch-hit but sometimes your best hitters are not coming off the bench. In the ninth inning, the ninth inning only. Not eighth inning, not the seventh, not extras -- ninth inning only, you are allowed to send up to the plate as your first three hitters whoever you want. … If 3-4-5 hitter goes out in order in the eighth inning, ninth inning the manager sends 3-4-5 right back out there.”
No way they'll do that.
Let me rephrase, they better not fuckin do that.
Maybe the rule could be that you can start your batting order wherever you want to lead off the tenth.
Dodger stadium is cool, my favorite under the radar one is Three Rivers though.
Stoked to see a game at The Big O this spring, Jays vs Cards.
