QuickTime Playback Problem

I can play .mov files on my computer directly from the web, but not from .mov files saved on my computer. I get an error message that the file isn't a format QuickTime recognizes.

I am running QuickTime Player 6.5.2 on Windows XP Professional SP2.

Anybody got a fucking clue what is wrong?

Try using a different player. Even on my Mac I sometimes get errors reading qt files, so now I play everything through VLC player.
