I think it depends on the kind of snorer you are. The pillow thing didn't work for me, but this thing totally did.

Took a couple days to find the sweet spot and get my jaw used to it, but for the last 5 months I actually dream again vividly and my wife sleeps through the night.

I just couldn't get over having to sleep with some contraption in my mouth. I guess I am not ready to admit my age. This thing is a good compromise.
