So I go a decent ride recently, wasn't really into the biking scene and followed REI's advice, ending up with a nice bike...but not dual susp. I told the people there that I would be doing 60% DH, 40% climbing/biking around town. After riding this thing DH, I realize that I need a dual bike. My question: should I test the 100% satisfaction guarantee and return the bike for a dualie- or just try my best with this hardtail? Thanks for helpin out this Mtb. JONG.
You've got nothing to lose by testing the guaruntee. They'll more than likely take it back, and you really aren't happy with it, right?!?! For all the time corporate America takes advantage . . .
Is your hartail a freeride/street/urban HT or some cross conntry ride? If the latter run away fast.
If 60% DH is really in your future you should return the hard-tail and get a freeride bike with two rings up front so you can still climb 40%.
