TGR Dentist query, this should just be a sticky
Since we all trust some person who we have never met and claims to be a dentist more than the person who has actually stuck their hands in our mouth.
I had 2 wisdom teeth removed in early July at the tender age of 59.
They both came out easily. The bottom one has healed up well, socket filled, good pink tissue.
The top one (# 1) came out easily as well although one root broke off and was removed.
4 Months later the tissue over the site is healed but there is still a damn big crater there where the tooth used to be.
My Oral Surgeon says it looks fine, lets move ahead with implants in # 2 & 3. I am not so sure. At my advanced age is this just a matter of time?
So DDSs without the benefit of x-rays or pictures, what say you?
