Trinity Chutes, Mt. Shasta, 5-22-17
We camped near Bunny Flat and started skinning around 3 AM. Bunny Flat was HOT when we started, not even close to freezing. But by the time we reached around 9,000' the snow was rock solid.

Great skiing back to the bottom. All in all it was an excellent introduction to the Cascades. Can't wait to get back to ski the rest!

Looks like a great trip! Hard to beat perfect weather and corn harvest on the Volcanoes. Cooper Spur lookin sick, drool drool. I want that.
-
Fun pics. Come back with Tone and we'll ski some of the Warshintun cones.

Nicely done. Yet another of the several hundred skiing things I still need to do.
-
Wow, you got the perfect weather window, not too mention near perfect snow conditions. My last attempt at Cascade volcanoes was clouds and rain the whole time.

Nice Trip Report. Way to get after it
