If you had a long weekend, in the middle of summer, where would you go?
Asking b/c I love to spend weekends backpacking and bringing my rod along is always a good call. The main task here would be fishing, probably a solo trip. 2-3 nights, I'm in good shape and love hauling in those native cutties.
My initial thoughts - Indian Peaks Wilderness, Zirkel Wilderness, Flattops, Eagles Nest Wilderness? Shoot more ideas my way!

Southern end of the Rawah has many fine options. Beautiful country, but the approaches are all long. Upper lakes may be iced over for a while.
