Please be careful
Here's a couple of links to tragedy and tragedy narrowly averted. There have already been multiple drownings in Colorado on Sho Sho, the punchbowls, SBC, Pine Creek and maybe even more. Be honest with yourself and your abilities. Carry safety gear, know how to use it. Take a swiftwater course. Pick your crew wisely but don't run drops becasue you have saftey set. Around here, many rivers are running at levels not seen in 5yrs. Many paddlers are to green to have experienced true high water. It's a different river. Your standard III play run in is your face IV. Be smart and paddle another day. Kayaking often has very low margins for error and the river does not easily forgive.

Hey guys do you have any pics of some of these areas?
Maybe the traps that you are all talking about.
I want to learn more about these traps, for my own knowledge.

Most of them are pictured at least in part on americanwhitewater.org When I have more time, I'll try to link 'em for you.
