drink Sol.
8-10 jager shots daily.....and water fall skiing
Trail running. Keeps legs and lungs pumping all summer.
Mountain bike 5 or 6 days a week and lift weights at the gym once or twice a week. And do some balance training and stretching for the knee here and there.
Running outside, or running uphill on a treadmill if in a gym....stairmaster, or trail hiking when the snow's gone.
Squats and lunges. And some running and mountain biking.
Ultimate frisbee twice a week (which probably does more damage to my knees than a full season's worth of skiing), surfing on the weekends, mtn bike rides here and there. And lots of balance, fine muscle coordination training, and spinal compressions thanks to 5-9 hours a day five days a week on a 17' Boston Whaler.
I rub my titties twice daily. 18 times in the morning, and 18 times in the evening. Naked. Then I pour goose fat all over the kitchen floor and do spins until I get tired. About 75 spinnies. You know, around and around and around. Then I somersault all over my house. Backwards, forwards, and the loop-de-loop. It's so much fun!
Oh! And use the search function, it's tremendously useful!! :)
I DO THE SAME THING!!! I don't do the somersaults though...that's just plain weird.Quote:

HGH and EPO (joke)
Oh, I have found that cycling is great for over all fitness but doesn't work the best to build power for skiing or help keep the sorness away in the fall or early winter. I really thought it would be more helpful?? Thats why I'm doing more weights this year. Also I want to look cool with my shirt off this summer.
About 3000 miles of road riding, 2-3 days of week in the gym (stairmaster, weights), depending on weather. Minimal tequila consumption, as much sex as possible. I said possible.
hiking/skiing 1-2 times per week, ice hockey twice a week, softball, tennis, beer drinking, sleeping and spacing out. All of the above in the last two days. Oh yeah, that same thing benny does, "as much as possible."
I thought running would do the same thing, nope. Running/biking is great in the summer to maintain body and cardio fitness, but once October comes you really need to be on the weights. That's my plan anyway.Quote:

I run 9-10 kms approx 4 times a week and mountain bike 3-4 times a week, throw in taking a road bike to work as often as possible and thats me for the summer!
Climb as many mountains as possible.

This creates better awareness of the upper body, leading to better balance. :)Quote:

I'm gonna keep it simple and do what Hermann does; cycle 10 hours a day 6 days a week. Oh wait, I have bills to pay and other stuff I gotta do. Nevermind.
