6/1 TR - How to commit SUICIDE after work
Watched temps at work all day yesterday and thought it might be pretty good after work. Turns out it was pretty damn fun
Overview of Suicide on Mt. Superior. 1500'; approx. 750 of it down on apron and another 750 up in the chute itself. According to McLean upper chute is 40 degs. and I think apron is somewhere around 25.

Gnarliest move of the whole thing was getting up and over the 10' cornice at the top of it. Got me going a little since I haven't had to use my ice climbing skills for a few years and a blow off would have sent me pinging off the side walls and the rock below. Picture don't really do it much justice - sorry.

On top looking down at some luv (only one way to get this view Stash and it ain't pounding nails :p ) Took me just under an hour. A methed up Trackhead would've done it in 15 minutes

There is a round, relatively flat spot on top of it that I had forgotten about that allows for some good picture taking. Looking down canyon ....

Looking down at Superior ridge that Gaper Joe and I scrambled a few years back .... gnarly fun for sure

Then looking up a more gnarly fun and exposure on both sides

She was pretty damn good for an early evening on June 1 :fmicon: Soft top few inches on a firm base that made for some schamoooove turning. Only runnels were where she meets the apron and then the apron was smooth again and a little slow due to lack of pitch and dirt seeping up through snow. Rockheads starting too pop up all over also which made for some fun turning too - keep those eyes open ;)
Fire still fueled and out getting some :)
