Cd's that are great from start to finish.

For the third time in my life I have lost my entire cd collection. The only upside to this is I didn't have many cd's since I was rebuilding from my last loss. I had a bunch of cd's that only had one or two good songs on them. I feel like I'm wasting money buying a $15 cd that has two good songs on it. So, NO MORE. I have decided that I will no longer tolerate a cd that I have to scan through to find a song I like. My favorite cd's were always the ones That were good from start to finish. The kind of cd that you can leave in the player for weeks at a time and listen to over and over again and not care what song is playing because (pardon the shitty overused saying) it's all good. These are the albums I want. I think it would be cool to have a list of everyone's favorite cd's that are good from the first note. Post the names of albums you listen to that you never ever ever skip any of the songs. Anything from country to classical and Goth to Ghetto-tech. All genre's (sp?) of music are welcome here.

IMHO, it's not stealing if you already bought it (and subsequently lost it). Once you rebuild your library, I suggest converting it to MP3 format, and burning everything to cd (1 mp3 cd=~12 albums) to avoid a future total loss. You would be protecting your right to make copys of music for your own archival purposes as cd's get scratched and worn, not stealing.

You guys rule though. Lots of albums on here that I would like and a few that I had and forgot about. I think I'll be picking up some massive attack, the cult, and that common cd I used to have today.

I doubt Best Buy would have it. It's a little obscure for them. They have it listed on their website but there's a pretty slim chance they would have it at the store.

Lots of good suggestions in this thread that I had forgotten about too. Pink Moon and Kind of Blue are two of my favorite albums that I had completely forgotten.

I'm like you though, I don't buy albums anymore for one or two songs. I want to hear good tunes from start to finish. That's why I spend a lot of time at Twist & Shout here in Denver just checking out the albums at the listening posts.
