It would be nice to meet a surfer mag for a change.
I will be staying in baleal from Oct 20ish till Dec 19, surfing, watching the contest, smoking and playing dominoes with local elderlies. It's also quite possible I will have a spare room/bed, just in case.
Come, it will be a blast, the beginning of winter there never failed to deliver for me.
Wish I had not just bought tickets in a different direction. Been researching a move to Portugal and this would be a perfect introduction. Kind offer to the mags, cheers.
I've pulled the trigger earlier, and am already here. I've decided to check out the south and have been surfing Algarve for the last week. In a couple of days I'll go to Porto and when I'm done with all these nice rubies, tawnies, colheitas and vintages, I'm in Peniche. Though, I recon, I'll trade watching Rip Curl Pro for sheer spectacularity of Nazare Big Wave, if the swell delivers.
