some posts have black boxes, which I assume are either videos or pictures or both. I can see some pictures and videos. Other people comment on the black content so they are obviously able to see them. Viewing on PC with Windows 7, Chrome. What gives?

I'm seeing black boxes in a post where flash objects should be. I heard talk about Chrome disabling flash soon (if not already), so that could be what's happening.
I was seeing the same thing with IE, on 2 different laptops, and on multiple sites. And now the problem is gone, and not from anything I've done AFAICT
